how can i build chest muscles and not much else?
I want to build up my pectorals as fast as possible, but not bulk up much else, because i play basketball. Can some one recommend a workout schedule and possible a protein supplement schedule?

I can’t help you with the protein supplements… I would recommend some whey protein a half-hour or so before you work out, to help rebuild the muscle, but I’m not exactly a specialist.
Do many push-ups, of all variety. Regular, incline, spread-fingered, marine-style, all of it. If you can, do reverse push-ups as well (get a bar, hook both ends on something solid and about waist-high, get underneath it and position yourself so you’re looking at the ceiling and you’re suspending yourself by your arms by holding onto the bar at your chest. This isn’t a pull-up; you should be at about a 30 degree angle to the ground and your heels should be grounded. Lower yourself, pull back up.

Bench press would be the way. but thats not smart. you want your upper body strength to be evenly distributed. just because you play basketball doesnt mean you can’t be strong everywhere. just keep shooting before each lifting session (like if you lift every other day– muscle recovery requires a day of rest) to keep your shot adjusted to your new strength. its not hard at all. getting stronger wont mess up your shot, you just need to shoot and adjust while you are progressing.
